My Personal Testimony and Praise

I am so thankful for a God fearing husband, who has encouraged me and loved me and our two adult children in a way that glorifies our Savior, Jesus Christ.

I was raised in church, but did not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ until after graduating from high school. A good friend invited me to a home Bible study, led by godly woman, whom I now consider a second mom. She clearly presented the Gospel to me, discipled me as a new Believer in Jesus Christ and challenged me through biblically loving correction (which I so desperately needed) to live life for Him to its fullest. Showing an example of what God called a wife and mother to look like, as she opened her home to many other young people and teens. She eventually introduced me to her mentor and Bible teacher, we all affectionately called “Grandma Lu”. So much more of God’s word and instruction in the principles of scripture were poured into my hungry heart by these godly women, that I grew to have a passion to share Christ with others. Especially other ladies and girls, that they may come to know Him and grow in their understanding of His will and a desire to fulfill it. May God bless our efforts and may He always be given the preeminence.

What We Believe

The Bible (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pt. 1:19-21) It's the inspired word of God, without error and eternal in the heavens. All of the principles for godly living are included in scripture for our example and learning, and application.
The Trinity (I Jn. 5:7; Matt. 28:19) Scripture teaches about God the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit; also known as the Trinity or Triune God. All three are God and three distinct individuals that make up the Godhead. They are each equal in power and distinct in their role in Biblical and world history. God is sovereign, all powerful and eternal, amongst many other attributes. All things were created by God (the Son) and for Him, and He holds all things together through His power and His the presence of His Holy Spirit.
Salvation (Rom. 10:9-10, 13; Eph. 2:8-9) Scripture teaches that salvation is a free gift available only by the grace of God through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. God the Father requires payment for our sin, which Christ willingly paid so that we may have fellowship with the Father, now and for all eternity. This is only possible because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ as payment for our personal sin debt.

GOD'S SALVATION PLAN FOR YOU

Recognize and Admit that YOU are a sinner. “For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23) We’re all born with a sin nature and that sin is what separates us from God. “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He (JESUS) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (I Jn. 1:8-9)
Realize JESUS is the ONLY way to be saved. He alone paid your sin debt and loved you enough to shed His blood for your sins. Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (Jn. 14:6) Sin requires death and God the Father accepted Jesus’ payment on your behalf. He sacrificed His ”only begotten Son…(that you might) not perish, but have everlasting life…” (Jn. 3:15-18) “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31)
Accept Jesus’ free GIFT, by FAITH. “For BY GRACE are ye saved THROUGH FAITH; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of GOD: NOT of works, lest any man should boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9) This is called GRACE, because we could never do anything to deserve this GIFT. By God’s GRACE you can become a child of God when you place your FAITH in all that JESUS has done for you (His death, burial, and resurrection) to be able to choose eternal life in heaven. This must become personal. No one else can do this for you and you can never do enough good to earn salvation. “…CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve;…” (Josh. 24:15b) “But as many as received HIM, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” (Jn. 1:12)

If you have just placed your faith in Jesus Christ and accepted Him as Savior, we would love to hear about it. “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Rom. 10:10) Make sure you connect with a Bible teaching church locally and stay connected. It’s important to dig into God’s word and allow yourself to be taught, built up in your faith, and in prayer with others who love Jesus and desire to see you grow. The enemy of our soul will seek to discourage and cause doubt, so don’t hesitate to get connected and stay faithful in a local Christ-centered fellowship.
